Well, I’m Liam, but you call me “Webby”.

My interest in forex started in 2011, fresh out of college, armed with a (very) basic web developer degree and a bank account that was looking a little worse for wear after a few too many nights out.

But then I discovered FX, and immiedately thought it’d be a quick and easy way to boost my summer savings.

It looked pretty simple, too:

Buy when price rises and sell when it falls – I mean, how hard could it be, right?

Boy, was I wrong!

Exhilarating highs, crushing lows, frustrating failures, and many valuable lessons learned the hard way (i.e, usually by losing money!)

I’ve tasted the sweetness of large wins and felt the sting of painful losses – both from FX and many failed websites/business ventures.

Today, forex isn’t just a side hustle… it’s a lifelong obsession I juggle alongside my other website businesses.

But hey, I’m not all about the markets.

I enjoy a drink or two (or three!) – Coke and rum, that’s always my Jam.

When I’m not dissecting charts or backtesting strategies, I like to unwind with a bit of model building, hanging out with family (no nagging wife yet, thank goodness!), and watching F1 and MotoGP racing.

And of course, there’s my trusty sidekick, Blade – my loyal Labrador. We often go for long walks in the nearby woods, usually to clear my head after a hectic day at the market.
